The conference speakers also discussed the latest market changes and challenges in the regional market for conventional fertilizers, the situation and news from Ukraine and Central Asia.

I took part in the WFM conference in Prague. The set-up was fantastic:
• A careful selection of the attendees – there are not many of them, but all of them are the industry professionals, which made all the meetings and negotiations fruitful.
• The convenient schedule where one has time to listen to speakers and hold negotiations.
• Another advantage was the provided entertainment in the form of a gala dinner and a sightseeing tour.
Trifon Vasilev, Import & Export Manager at Ecofol, Bulgaria
I had the pleasure of attending several events organized by Chem-Courier, including the recent conferences in Prague and Istanbul, where I had the honor of delivering keynote speeches.
The events timing was very appropriate for decision-making in our sector, providing a platform for professionals to exchange information, network, and explore emerging trends.
The Chem-Courier conferences consistently deliver exceptional content and facilitate valuable connections among professionals, making them a must-attend for anyone in the fertilizers industry.
Dr Nikos Louizos, Director at Indagro SA
Regarding the WFM conference in Prague:
It was once again a successful and very well organized event.
I enjoyed very interesting and useful presentations on the current regional and international market issues, including unique statistics on the Eastern European markets and, of course, the meetings with fertilizer market participants from all over the world.
Looking forward to the next event.
Sorin Belu, Commercial manager at Ameropa Grains
It was great to have an offline fertilizer conference dedicated to Eastern Europe in Prague as meetings with partners are always useful and necessary, especially during hard times. Considering a plenty of uncertainties we faced last and this year, it is always good to talk with the market players personally and exchange the first-hand information. We are looking forward to WFM’s next event.
Tatyana Pavlova, Sales Manager at Afer Bulgaria EOOD
A couple of factors have made the V International Conference Prague Fertilizers 2023 one of the good conferences for Agropolychim AD for the year to date. Firstly, the timing. January 2023 witnessed significant price fluctuations in the world fertilizer market. Thе conference provided a quality environment for discussions on the topic. Secondly, the location drew attention of companies that Agropolychim AD either knows and partners with, and we appreciated the face-to-face meetings with them, or those that the Bulgarian producer of nitrogen, phosphate and complex fertilizers could establish business relations with. With some of them, we started doing so. Last but not least, we had the team of Chem-Courier who attended to our questions and spared the time to talk about the conference and the upcoming events that might be of interest and value to us. As discussed then and there, what we lacked in terms of information and event mapping, the hosts compensated with hospitality. We are looking forward to the information on further events of the kind.
Thank you once again. We met new associates and have been working with them ever since. And it was a great time for the market information exchange.
Mohammed Waleed Al Bawardi, Nitrogen Marketing Manager at Ma’aden
The conference was good and the number of attendees was more than we expected. However, Ma’aden generally focuses on Europe and Eastern Europe is still not like other markets such as India and Brazil. It is definitely within our radar though.

The Budapest conference was very well organized, just in time to share useful information about the market developments in CEE and Balkans in these volatile times. It was a great opportunity to meet the industry stakeholders face to face after a long period. Topics and presentations were very diverse and interesting, looking forward to new events.
Gerald Papst, Chief Business Officer, Nitrogenmuvek
It was great to have again a physical fertilizer conference in Budapest. Topics were spot on and I appreciated the clear focus on Central and Eastern Europe, including logistical topics.

The conference in Bucharest was extremely useful for the local fertilizer market. Most players were there and we could see what their market vision is. It was also a benefit for all of us to understand how new market participants pop up and what innovations they bring.
The format was wise as all the promised areas of interest were covered.
Talking with people there, I learned that they were very interested in monitoring the economy (agricultural statistics different areas). This is a good basis for the planning for any of us.
I hope you will be back to the region with something similar.
Stefan Grancharov, Marketing Director, Neochim PLC
It was a pleasure to be a part of the 2019 WFM conference. The topics covered were well chosen and represented the current fertilizer market trends as well as what to expect in terms of regulations.

I would like to express my gratitude to you and your team for making the first WFM conference in Athens with regional focus on the Balkans and inviting our company to participate.
The event was well organized and covered all necessary updates on the regional markets. As discussed, the regional market potential might be well undervalued currently, so there is room for growth.
We as a producer and the other participants had many questions answered such as AN trading restrictions in Turkey, Cadmium levels proposal development, regional trade balances etc.
Malgorzata Madura-Folta, Director of Strategic Research, Grupa Azoty
As for the 2018 conference, in my opinion you managed to collect a large number of companies for the first time.
I wanted to praise the choice of place (good connection with the airport) and attractions. Maybe you should consider to move the attractions to the starting day, but this is not necessary.
As for the substantive scope, it seems to me that you have been able to present key information from the represented markets.
From the point of view of my work, it would be more interesting for me to expand the scope of information on forecasts and key trends in the short and long term.
Daria Grib, Export Sales Manager, Grodno Azot
I liked the concept, workshop sessions and presentations as well as the chance to do some networking during the evening activities. This means we left the event with some knowledge, not just business cards of the companies that may never buy anything from us.
Please keep it up - the market information, trade flows, the key suppliers and producers, pricing factors in a given region. The more information of this kind we have, the better. Your colleagues with their analysis were good at that. I’d be happy to listen to experts talking about each and every country separately.
